Patricia, I'm a mother who just lost an adult son to suicide three months ago. Your book, The Last Stop, was both spellbinding and enlightening. My son was mostly alcohol and methadone addicted. At the end of his life at age 57, he died by gunshot wound, however, his addicted brain pulled the trigger. I have worked in mental health for the last 35 years and have found it to be a very short walk from the professional to the personal as I've lived through this hell.
