APRIL IS NATIONAL POETRY MONTH!

I can't believe it has been over 25 years since I wrote this short fun poem titled "Wrinkles."

There once was an old man

Who lived in a shoe

He had so many wrinkles

He didn’t know what to do.

One day, he asked his lady love,

“Tell me truly

do thee love this

wrinkled old man

as he loves you?"

“Yea,” she answered without a pause,

“Wrinkled or no, just because!”

Maybe today is a good day to tell someone you love them ... just because.
